Today, Gwinnett County citizen, MerryBelle Hodges, attended a Voter Challenge Hearing pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-229(a) Georgia Code § 21-2-229 (2022) to present her “burden of proof” to the Gwinnett County Board of Registrations and Elections (BRE).
Mrs. Hodges recently submitted well over 100 voter “qualification” challenges included current active and inactive voters registered at invalid and ineligible registration addresses at business addresses, UPS/USPS P.O. Boxes, demolished properties, and more. These registration addresses should have never been accepted when originally submitted or changed to these non-residential addresses pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-217(a)(1) Georgia Code § 21-2-217 (2022). The Gwinnett BRE under their Oath of Office are also charged with regular voter roll maintenance pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-228(a)(b) Georgia Code § 21-2-228 (2022) to ensure our Gwinnett voter roll is accurate to limit the potential for confusion, registration misuse and possible fraud.
The BRE started the meeting with member, Mirandola (Democrat appointee) motioning to dismiss all submitted challenges. It received the second by chair, Dr. Taylor (Democrat appointee). The vote was recorded 3-2 with the two Republican appointees voting in opposition to dismiss these challenges.
Mrs. Hodges was not allowed to present her evidence as allowed by law and in violation of her First Amendment right to speak in her defense as the challenger.
Listen to her update following the hearing:
Note: Some challenge evidence Mrs. Hodges was not allowed to present today included previous challenges voted unanimously by the BRE (in March, 2023) to be REMOVED that are still on our voter roll TODAY! Additionally, new voter registrations have been added to known non-residential/non-existent addresses since that date.

Thank you both (all!) for your hard work on this important project. So disappointing to hear the response from the Gwinnett Election Board. Appreciate these updates (& putting all this on the record). ❤️🇺🇸🙏
